Today is the day we Turn and Fight...

Written as a response to the Masonic corpus of the 21st Century, the body of wisdom and message conveyed is relevant and important to every Freemason today. Read with an eye towards the future, the text will speak volumes to the younger members, and should ring a clarion call to all of the membership.

Take heed, this is challenging, but relevant more than ever.

Who are the Knights of the North?

There is no one author of this work. The ideas herein stemmed from Internet
discussions among many friends and brothers between 2003 and 2004. They
are Master Masons, Past Masters, and Past Grand Masters—some new to the
fraternity, some with decades of service, and many somewhere in between.
While many may regard this book as an important step to reinvigorating the
fraternity, others may interpret it as an affront to their personal policies and
agendas. It is unfortunate that the mere act of questioning the status quo can
be regarded as offensive by some men clothed in “little brief authority,” as
Allen Roberts famously put it.

Einstein told us, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and
over again and expecting a different result.” It is our desire to break that
cycle of insanity that has atrophied Freemasonry into its current state. It is
NOT our desire to engage in a battle of personalities, but change must come
from within our organization. It IS our desire to encourage our present
leaders—and especially those who will lead us a decade from now—to
embrace these proposals and act upon them.
