FMI Sponsors and Advertising
Background:
This website, Freemasoninformation.com, originated
as an advertising free endeavor to bring a more coherent
message about
Freemasonry to the Masonic and interested community.
Gradually, as the sites traffic increased and its operational
expenses increased, it slowly adapted a limited expression of Google
Adsense contextual ads. For a time, this helped the site to operate
in the black, and allowed for further development. Like all endeavors,
however, as it grew, its expenses have grown, and so a new wave
of sponsorships and adverting has been put into the program.
The adverts on this site are in place to help bring this content
to you, the user.
Moving Forward:
Today a search functionality has being introduced, allowing
a greater degree of flexibility and function to your daily Masonic
content search. The new search bar from Google will search for
content within FMI and on the web. In addition to the new search
on the home page, feeds from Tim Bryce, Masonic Traveler are
fed directly into the front page, as well as content from the
world of Masonry as News Items and Blogs are also featured.
As mentioned above, FMI has had an increase in traffic and is
now a top searched site on Freemasonry, logging monthly in excess
of 30,000* page views. What that translates into is a site that
reaches a targeted audience with a very specific message. With
that in mind, we are now accepting advertising and sponsorships
for the full site, or specific pages, and can work out a number
of programs for your interest. Please email the webmaster for details.
As the site grows, and interest builds, a portion of all revenue
made will be given to a different charity each month. Brotherly
Love, Relief, and Truth being the motto of Freemasonry, it is only
appropriate to give back into non-profit community. As we move
into the coming months, check back here for updates on the charitable
contributions being given and to which charities they are going
out to. The purpose in this is to leverage back into FMI’s
original role of presenting the best Masonic content to the interested
audience while making a difference to those in need.
