Freemason Information is an independent voice in the masonic community featuring Masonic Education, Analysis and News for Freemasons.
Welcome to Freemason Information.
The aim of Freemason Information is to discuss, editorialize and analyze the history, growth, and future of Freemasonry. Of greatest interest is the role and relationship of the fraternity with society and the internal workings of the freemasonry itself.
Freemason Information exists to broaden the understanding of non-Masons who have an interest in the fraternity. While each Grand Lodge speaks to Freemasonry in its individual state, this site offers a broad overview of the how Masonry intersects with society.
This site is entirely independently operated and supported out of a passion for the fraternity.
You can support the site by sharing posts on social media, sharing it with your lodge, and telling us what you think in the comments. If you really believe in the mission, there are a few more ways you can contribute to the overhead and expenses here.
Where to Start
The first place to start would be to download the What is Freemasonry eBook. You can also check out:

Why Ads on Freemason Information
Sadly, nothing these days are free. That axiom is just as true in a retail store as it is on the web. While the web is a much cheaper option than a brick and mortar storefront, it still comes with some fixed and intrinsic costs for the content it hosts, which is why you see some ads on this site.
In a perfect world, Freemason Information would be totally ad free. We are, however, in a less than perfect world and need them to keep the pixels glowing.
In support of the effort to move away from a barrage of ads, tactfully displayed as best possible, perhaps consider supporting the site via Patreon. Or, if you have a relevant event or product and would like to sponsor the site, get in touch and let’s talk.
Do you have a new Masonic book or a work you’d like to let the Masonic world know about? You can drop us a query email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Unfortunately, we cannot respond to every inquiry. If you’re looking to conduct genealogical investigations, we suggest using Ancestry.com or, in the United States, contacting the Grand Lodge of the state you would like information from.
Thank you for taking the time to visit we look forward to hearing from you.
