Grand Lodges

Most Masonic Lodges are governed by a state (or national) body called a Grand Lodge. In the United States, there are 51 such bodies that manage the collective activity within their jurisdiction. In most cases, lodges will be listed in local business directories, on line, or in the Yellow Pages. You may also try a simple search online for Masonic Lodge and your town/cities name to find the closest one to you. Consult their website for any upcoming activities (should they be listed) before visiting as many lodges keep odd hours to most businesses.

If you are unable to find a Masonic lodge close to you, we recommend contacting the Grand Lodge for your particular state at the link below.

Outside of the United States, please consult the list below, or your local directories for lodges.

Please Note – in many countries, and in many regions, Freemasonry remains secretive and may not be listed publicly. In these instances, those interested in the fraternity would need to look carefully for Freemasons within their community to ask about petitioning. In some regions, Freemasonry is outright prohibited because of cultural, religious and other social extremes and we caution anyone who actively seeks out association to be aware of the cultural prohibitions around you.
