In response to Antonio, yes there are still women Freemasons. There are quite a number of Obediences. I am a member of an Obedience that allows men and women (working to the glory of T.G.A.O.T.U). This Obedience is called American Co-Masonry. There’s a most excellent book written about women in Freemasonry throughout history. Search Amazon for “Haunted Chambers” by Karen Kidd. Another book that is specific about women Freemasons in America is “On Holy Ground” by the same author.
